Training, Qualifications & Experience
I started my training in Counselling and Psychotherapy in 2001.
In 2005 I completed four years of clinical training in Transactional Analysis Psychotherapy.
Both during and since that time I have worked with Bereavement and Loss, working extensively with clients and their families at the end of life. More recently I have worked with people bereaved by suicide.
I have worked for a specialist bereavement and loss service in East Sussex and I have also worked with Pembrokeshire Counselling Service supporting clients across West Wales.
I am an Associate Counsellor working in Employment Assistance Programmes and Bereavement Support, and I also work with a ground breaking Online Live Chat Bereavement Helpline.
I hold a Diploma in Transactional Analysis Counselling.
I hold a Certificate in Bereavement and Loss.
I am fully trained in Pet Bereavement Counselling.
I am a qualified Supervisor and hold an Advanced Certificate in Clinical Supervision.
I am a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP)
I adhere to the codes of ethics of the BACP and I have regular supervision in line with their recommended requirements.
My practice is fully insured to keep within BACP guidelines.
