This Privacy Statement sets out how I, Beverley Kemp collect and store personal information about you when you contact me to arrange therapy or supervision sessions. This Privacy Statement is effective from 1st January 2021.

How I Use Your Personal Data
I, Beverley Kemp Counselling, Psychotherapy and Clinical Supervision take your privacy very seriously and will never disclose your data without your consent, unless required to do so by law. I only retain your personal data for as long as recommended by UK Counselling & Psychotherapy associations.
Special Categories Data
I may collect information concerning your health (health data) for the purpose of assessing the suitability of my service and any potential future safeguarding issues surrounding your health. Where I collect such information, I will only request and process the minimum necessary for the specified purpose.
How your data is stored
Your data is kept securely, is Password protected and only kept for the time you are attending Counselling or Supervision sessions. Any Notes kept are Password protected and cannot be identified. These have to be kept for 7 years as per my Insurance Policy.
Your rights
Subject to few limitations on certain rights, your principal rights in relation to your personal information under data protection laws are set out below. You can exercise any of your rights in relation to your personal data by contacting me to request this information.
∙ Right to access - you have the right to access any personal information that I collect and store about you
∙ Right to rectification - If you believe that I hold any incomplete or inaccurate data about you, you have the right to ask me to correct and/or complete the information.
∙ Right to erasure - In some circumstances you have the right to the erasure of your personal data without undue delay. Those circumstances include: the personal data are no longer necessary in relation to the purposes for which they were collected or otherwise processed. However, there are exclusions of the right to erasure.
